The lodge lady was very caring, and breakfast was simple, homemade, and delicious. It felt homey and comfortable, with a great location near the main plaza, across from a bodega and pharmacy. My one issue was that I asked the cleaning lady twice not to come into my room, but she came in anyway. Even so, I'd totally recommend it. Great area for Cusco!

The top rooms have a great view of the fortress. Both owners were very friendly, and their lovely young daughter was a gem to meet. I enjoyed staying here and supporting a family-owned business.

At 5 A.M. I woke to the mistress yelling at some customers, apparently because they were having breakfast too early and that was unacceptable to her. It felt strange given the hostal's motto, "feel like in home". I felt sorry for those guys. It's a small hostal with an okay location, warm water, and some eggs for breakfast.
