They even packed two small sandwiches, a bottle of water and fruit for us when we left the hotel at 4 am to travel to Machu Picchu. Breakfast is served every morning and can be brought to your room with ten minutes' notice. The staff here were the most helpful and friendly I've ever met, and the hotel was very clean by any standard. It may not be in the tourist area, but it's a ten-minute walk downhill to the central plaza. On the way back, I'd suggest taking an UBER for 2 usd. Our UBER to the airport cost 7 USD. COCA TEA is available free around the clock for acclimatization, and you'll really need it. THANKS FOR ALL STAFF.

The hotel let us leave our luggage there while we did the four-day Inca trail hike, which helped a lot. They also provided a great breakfast, or a breakfast box if you're heading out before 6 am. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the main square. It's in a quiet neighborhood with a small shop and launderette nearby, and felt very safe even late at night. I'd absolutely recommend it.

There was no soundproofing in our room beside the front desk, so staff and guests sounded like they were right in the room with us. We had to ask people to quiet down at 10:30 the night before an early excursion, and earplugs didn't help. The courtyard-facing windows didn't open, leaving the room dark and stuffy. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were even worse. Breakfast was a joke and nowhere near worth the price. It was LOUD.

A short, pleasant walk gets you to the centre. Very nice hotel, with good amenities and extremely friendly staff.
