The private rooms are affordable, and the rooftop is a nice place to look over downtown Cusco. Breakfast was a step up from typical hostel food because they own the restaurant next door. Nights get cold, and the bathroom could use work, though there is hot water.

Over my three-week stay, the staff were very friendly, and the place felt safe, with a location close to Cusco's center. Water was a real issue: there was no hot water on three occasions, and once there was no water at all until the next day. The Hospidaje also runs the restaurant next door, so noise carries from early afternoon until late at night. Even aside from that, it's a very noisy place, and only suitable if you're there during early afternoon. The block ceiling means people on lower levels can hear everything. Wi-Fi wasn't very reliable either.
