A nice hostel with hot showers. They give their earnings to cooperar Perú, an organisation that helps children around Cusco.

Such a lovely place, with a great atmosphere. It’s really cheap for Cusco, and they hand out bracelets. I’ll keep mine as long as it lasts to remember my wonderful time there.

The room looked nice, but hygiene wasn’t good. There were lots of bugs, spiders and woodlice, and once something that looked a lot like a flea jumped off my arm. No heating either. The staff were chaotic: I got the wrong room, they couldn’t find the key, they forgot to give me my passport, and when I tried to pay that afternoon, the price was 50 soles (about €12.50) higher than what I’d been told the previous morning. I let it go because I enjoyed my stay. This place really only works if you have a “backbackers” mentality. In that case, it can actually be enjoyable.
