Hostal Chasky

You get what you pay for, I guess. We booked a double room with its own bathroom, but none were available when we arrived. Instead we got a room with a tiny, smelly bathroom shared with others. The organization was poor, and the guy didn’t apologize or offer any discount. The woman, though, was very nice.

The hot water wasn’t guaranteed, and the nighttime service was unprofessional. I asked at reception for a cup and got a spiteful response, with the guy pointing at me and raising his voice. When I asked them to turn on the hot water, they mocked me because I couldn’t understand what the person at the desk was saying. Save your money and stay somewhere else unless you’re fine with laughably bad service. Negative stars. I guess you get what you pay for.

The room smelled awful, the bathroom was in terrible shape, and there was dirt and hair on the sheets. I’m pretty sure they hadn’t been changed before I checked in. It wasn’t as advertised.

It’s very central for historic cysci, and breakfast is basic. Bars on the square were noisy until after 4 am!
