Hotel Del Prado Hometown

The owners and staff were extremely nice, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The shower had great hot water. Thanks for hosting us.

The rooms were disgusting, the location was terrible, and the prices were outrageous. Eight nights cost 900,000 Chilean pesos, or $1,053 USD. I found the place an awful rip-off. Staff wouldn’t arrange tours, taxis, or Ubers, and would only agree to drop us one block farther down, by a gas station. Be prepared for a pack of dogs to attack you if you go. Once I’m back in my country, I’ll take legal action against the agencies promoting this place.

Samuel and I felt very welcome, and would definitely come back. Cesar, David, Eliana, and the whole hotel team were attentive and took care of all our needs. They also gave us great suggestions for restaurants and local attractions. The room was very spacious, the shower excellent, and service was available 24 hours a day. The check-in system also lets you arrive whenever you like.

The staff were all very friendly, and I felt warmly welcomed. The room and bathroom were clean and organized, with a place to store luggage and belongings, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was great. My room had no ventilation, which bothered me a little. It’s a bit far from the plaza, but an easy walk. The bad part was the noise: other guests sounded like they were in my room. I could hear the upstairs neighbor using the bathroom, and early morning tour departures were simply awful. Dogs barking through the night added to it, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep well.
