Hotel Valle Andino

We had a very good two-day stay. Mr. Alex was especially friendly and helped answer many of our questions, and the rest of the staff were welcoming too. The hotel was clean and well kept, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had the comforts and services we needed, and the historic monuments in central Cusco were within walking distance. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants with affordable prices, which can help save money.

The staff were the best part of our stay. They were so kind and packed breakfast boxes for our early tour. The rooms looked like the pictures. Nothing fancy, but comfortable.

The room was very clean and quiet at night, so I slept well. It was large and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a nighttime temperature that suited me. There was hot running water for showers all day, and the WiFi worked very well as long as I chose the right box for my floor, since each floor has a different one. I booked a four-night stay on the spot, and Jessica, the owner, was welcoming and understanding. She looked after my needs, including extra towels and toilet paper. The whole staff were friendly and accommodating. Ana served me breakfast on my last day and was lovely, and the food was really yummy. Breakfast boxes were available too, which I mostly chose because of my early trips. The location worked well for getting around: the bus to Ollantaytambo and a supermarket are each one minute away, and the main square is about ten minutes on foot. I’d highly recommend the hotel and would love to stay again.

Hernan arranged taxis for us at local prices, with no extra premium. The hotel is a nice 10-15 minute walk from the centre, and there’s a mini market right next door. Staff were brilliant, helpful, and accommodating. Our room was a decent size, modern, and very clean, though the bed linen was strangely all synthetic. Breakfast was basic but good. The top floor was quieter than the second.
