We were allowed to leave our luggage after checkout while we explored Cusco before our evening flight back to Lima. The team let us come and go all day, and we could repack comfortably in the lobby. When it was time to leave, they called a taxi and made sure we got in safely. That kindness and attention made us feel very looked after. Earlier, we’d sent our laundry out in the morning before checkout. It was washed, dried, and folded perfectly, then ready later that day, which helped a lot while traveling. Breakfast was wonderful, too, and the staff made everything feel easy and stress-free. We only stayed one night, but the hotel was modern, updated, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, a great place to recharge. It’s just a short walk to Plaza de Armas, shops, restaurants, cafes, and local markets. We had a wonderful stay at Kokoa Hotel in Cusco and would absolutely return.

The staff were very friendly, and the location was good. The room was clean, with a comfy bed and a warm shower. They also had breakfast to go for tours. A few things could be better: the bed felt too small for two, the room was loud and poorly insulated, and it wouldn’t get dark properly. Breakfast could have more choice. There was mold in the bathroom, and they provided shampoo but no body gel.

The staff are nice, and the place is clean and secure in a good location, but we haven’t had a great stay. At almost $100 aud a night, it doesn’t feel like good value. The bathroom drains smelled, though to their credit they sent a maintenance person the next day and got them fixed. The rooms are small, breakfast is limited to 2 eggs, and the shower currently has no hot water, though it’s being fixed. Hotel Hacienda Historica cost a little more, but was immensely better value in every way.

The staff went so far out of their way to help us, which really stood out. We booked at the last minute on our way back from Machu Pichu, and found a clean, comfortable, modern hotel. We usually choose highly rated, high-end places and have high expectations, so I was very impressed.

They even kept our bags for free while we were away on a four-day trek. The hotel felt brand new and comfortable, and the breakfast was just right to start the day. Free tea was a nice extra, and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed staying here and would happily recommend it.
