Leonard´s Lodgings

The place is clean and well located, with friendly staff and breakfast included. But it's dated, and the shower temperature kept changing. More often it was cold, with water pressure coming and going, and the toilet flooded. They also misplaced our room key while we were out on a tour, which wasn't a nice thing to come back to. It might do for a very short stay, but I wouldn't recommend it.

The neighborhood is really quiet, and the main square is just four blocks away. The rooms were very nice, and the staff were super friendly.

It's an old house, and the room got really cold during the frosty season because there's no heating. They did provide a second blanket, which was super thick and helped make up for it. The hotel includes breakfast, and there's hot water, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. I had a small problem with the hot water and called several times. The staff never seemed bothered and kindly sorted it out. The service was excellent, and the staff are delightful.

The good location is a big plus: it's one block from the post office in Cusco. Service is good, hot water is available, and you can ask for a heater in the evenings if the weather calls for it. Breakfast is standard and usually part of the price. They can arrange an airport taxi, and it's safe to leave your belongings there while you explore the city.
