My wife ended up agreeing with my hotel pick, even though she’d argued against it on the way over. The staff are pleasant and attentive. It’s pet friendly, with private parking and a small park where you can walk your dog. The hotel is clean and well kept, and far enough from Plaza de Armas for a good night’s sleep. There’s free tea too. We hadn’t tried breakfast when I first wrote this, but an update: it was very good.

I don’t really get why this place has such good reviews. It’s okay if all you need is four walls for a night, but the beds are like sleeping on plywood. Dogs bark outside the window all night, and you can hear people in their rooms clearly. It’s not a bad hotel, just a cheap, low-end one.

It’s a nice, quiet area, though not very close to town, so keep that in mind. The staff were really helpful and went above and beyond. The woman handling breakfast was sweet and hardworking, and breakfast was great, with good coffee. A very good place to lay your head.

I’ve rebooked here twice, and there’s no need to stay anywhere else. It’s a very nice hotel, the free breakfast is great, and I 100% recommend it.
