The staff work hard and pay attention to details. They made coca tea every day for our large group, which we appreciated. Special thanks to Jhordy and Carmen for making our omelettes, and to the doorman Gabriel, who was always there to help with requests at any time. It’s a nice little hotel next to the Sun Temple.

Miss Roxana looked after us so kindly and was always attentive to what we needed. She also recommended lots of places to visit. We had no problems during our stay, and the hotel was comfortable, well priced, and very close to the main square. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of natural light, with beds that were just right for resting. We were neither too hot nor too cold. The hotel itself is a lovely, well-preserved colonial mansion next to the city’s most important Inca temple. The restaurant was also a great option, with delicious food that wasn’t expensive.

The room was simple, spacious, and had decent airflow, though the lighting was a bit odd: just one main light by the door and no lamps near the bed. The hotel is down a side path, with the road not far away. Reception were very friendly, got us checked in quickly, and helped carry our bags upstairs. There’s no lift, so ask for a lower floor if stairs are a problem.

I was feeling a bit unwell from the change in altitude, and Ronald got me something to eat even though the kitchen had already closed. Julio and Ronald greeted us warmly, and both were very helpful. Great location, and I’d definitely stay here again.
