The place is an old colonial mansion with a courtyard, converted into a modern hotel, and the atmosphere was amazing. It's very walkable to local nightlife, just a 3 minute walk from Chongo, the main discotec. The complimentary pisco sours were top tier, and the shower and toiletries were great, especially after coming from a "local" Airbnb. Having AC and heat in the rooms feels like a luxury in Cusco, and you don't usually find that in budget accommodations. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, though I'm not sure the eggs were real. They tasted like the highly processed liquid egg mix that comes in a milk carton, a bad habit of US hotels. The service was excellent. The one thing to improve is the coca tea: it was just hot water with coca leaves, not brought to a boil to extract their essence. Properly boiled coca tea turns green, has a natural sweetness without sugar, and makes you feel invigorated despite the altitude. Without that preparation, you miss the benefits and delicious sweet taste.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff were professional and accommodating. The hotel was comfortable, quiet, and clean. You can't beat the location, within a five minute walk of Cusco's historical center and 10 minutes from the huge market. We stayed three nights total, two before our excursion and one after we returned home. I'd happily stay again.

A lovely, peaceful place, with nice 80s music and a top notch restaurant. Try the pisco sour! Ericson and Susan were especially nice and accommodating toward foreigners. The service was wonderful overall.

The hotel is a beautifully renovated historic house, with charm and modern comforts. My room was spacious and very comfortable, and I especially liked having a bathtub to unwind in. Its location is ideal, just a short walk from Plaza de Armas in Cusco. From the beginning, the staff made me feel welcome. The bellboys were very friendly, Telmo was especially helpful, and Cinthya and Seida at reception gave great recommendations for restaurants and landmarks and helped with everything I needed. I also appreciated the welcome drink and dish of sweets and treats. My stay at Wyndham Costa del Sol was excellent, and I'd highly recommend it.

The restaurant was great, from the food to the service, and all the personnel were great. The hotel was very clean and the service top notch, but there was no view. I like a dark room for sleeping, and light came in from the hall because the door wasn't sealed. Hallway noise came through too. Sealing the door would quiet the room when other guests leave.
