This neighborhood is quieter, with less traffic and car exhaust, and it's an easy walk to the center of town. Good restaurants are also just a short walk away. I'd recommend staying here. The people are professional and friendly, and they'll do whatever's needed to make you comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, and there's coffee if you get up early. If you're leaving early, they'll provide breakfast to go or a box lunch. I stayed in other parts of Huaraz before staying here and highly recommend it.

The staff were the best part of our four nights at the Cordillera Hotel. They were kind, friendly, and really well trained, and their advice made planning each day easy. Yuli deserves special thanks: her knowledge and friendly manner made us feel like lifelong friends, and her tips for excursions and places to visit in Huaraz were invaluable. Everyone gave us such a warm welcome, and you can see how much they care about their work. Our Peruvian friends recommended the hotel, and it became a highlight of our trip. The location made it easy to reach the area's main attractions. Rooms were spacious, tastefully furnished, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Each morning we had a delicious, hearty breakfast, either at the hotel or packed to go, which made our outings even better.

I had to stay an extra day because of health issues and needed to make some last-minute travel changes. Luz Ayala helped me make calls, which was a huge help since my Spanish is very poor. Thank you, Luz! All the staff were great, and that service is what stood out to me. The rooms are clean and breakfast is nice. I've explored most of Huaraz and can say this hotel is an excellent option.

It was a brand new hotel, with updated, clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. The staff were extra friendly and well trained, and they made us feel welcome. Everything was really outstanding for this area. I highly recommend it.
