Hotel & Hacienda La Caravedo

We had to wait almost an hour when we went two days ago, and the service was terrible. The food wasn’t worth the price at all. My Carapulcra with sopa Seca had flavorless noodles and no meat in the carapulcra, while the causa was mostly vegetables with barely any chicken. The arroz con pato was horrible, with very dry rice. Restaurant Tacama is a thousand times better. Worst experience of my life.

It felt like a place from a movie, with beautiful details and great service. Special thanks to Daniel de la Cruz for teaching me more about Chilcano and helping make karaoke a blast.

Carlos at reception was so warm and helpful, and we were greeted warmly when we arrived. Jesus gave us an amazing tour of the distillery, and Sebastian ran a fabulous cocktail-making class. We had an amazing stay. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

We wanted a calm weekday visit, and that’s exactly what we got. The staff were really friendly, and we loved the food and drinks we tried. The room was the one downside. We booked standard, not their best option, but it was very dark, and the single beds were tiny, uncomfortable, and noisy whenever we moved. Aside from that, we enjoyed our time.
