Amazon Camp

After a few days in the Amazon, the genuinely hot showers were an absolute must. The rooms were clean, and the owners were friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this hostel :) There's beautiful art on the walls and, as a bonus, three friendly doggies.

I left about 20 minutes ago, and my stay was perfect. The American owner was really helpful, the rooms were clean, the AC worked perfectly, and the internet was 10/10. The hostel staff were lovely and helpful too. I wish I'd booked my Amazon tour through the hostel. I went with another agency and had a terrible experience.

The hosts, Chip and Yessica, were kind, attentive, and fun. I liked the art, interesting pieces, cool furniture, and painted walls. Rooms overlooking the river are fantastic. The others are basic but clean, with hot-water showers, which can be a rare find around the Amazon. The place was neat, fairly quiet, and comfortable.

Chip and Yessica were super friendly and helpful, and they can organize tours, so you don't have to worry about sorting that out yourself. They also gave lots of useful advice about Iquitos and the surrounding jungle. It's very affordable for what you get. The place is clean, spacious, and secure, in a great spot close to the city Centre. There's a market view on one side and water on the other. Definitely recommend!
