The rooms are clean and tidy, and the owners are kind and helpful. I’ve been coming for years and have never had anything stolen. They take excellent care of you.

I came to Iquitos on my own as a woman and had a really nice stay. The location worked well, and the reception guys were extremely kind and helpful with suggestions for getting around and places to eat. I’d recommend it for a night in Iquitos. I’d booked a fan room by mistake, but they had no problem offering me an air-conditioned room at check-in. They also didn’t try to give me a bad exchange rate for paying in USD, which has happened at other hotels in Perú. Some of the reviews here feel unfair to me.

The rooms are decent for what they cost, and the owner is a great guy. The medicinal shop has the best selection in Iquitos, with authentic products.

Coco, the manager at Amazon Green, is caring and capable. He’s helped me and my groups work through several difficult situations, which makes staying there easy.

I bought rapé, Mambe, and other things from this shop, and paid the owner extra for packing. The parcel never arrived, and the owner won’t refund me. Worst place ever.
