The rooms were clean, quiet, and up to date, and Peter was quick to help when our toilet clogged, even though we’d used very little paper. He was polite and also pointed us to a restaurant we probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise. It turned out to be one of the best meals we had. Casa Aika was our favorite hostel in Peru. It’s near the Larco Museum, though not ideally located for everything else. A taxi to Plaza de Armas or Miraflores is inexpensive. Peter isn’t always on site, but he responds quickly to messages on the Casa Aika Facebook page. Fernando, the airport taxi driver arranged through the hostel, was friendly and even shared some sugar cane he bought on the street. It costs a little more, but the service and quality made it worthwhile.

The room was spotless and even had a smart TV. Everything worked smoothly, and Peter, the owner, was really friendly and helpful. A very nice place.

We stayed three nights and had some of the most comfortable beds ever. The hotel was clean, the staff were kind, and the service was good. Peter, the manager, really wants guests to feel at home, almost like family.
