On arrival we found the glass was already broken, but they charged us S/600 ($300) to fix it. We got it repaired for S/280. On our last day they also wanted S/300 ($150) for using the A/C, and after we lost a key they tried to charge another S/200 ($100). This felt absolutely disgusting, like they were trying to get extra money out of us. They shouldn't be running a business if this is how they treat people.

Good value and generally a good place. If you're going to the university, it's well located, though getting into town means a long walk.

The room was clean and quiet, with only the occasional plane passing overhead, and the service was excellent in both attitude and helpfulness. The building feels a bit old and the shower pressure was on the weak side. For the price, though, that was acceptable.

The service felt warm and homey, which made this place especially easy to recommend. It's in a cozy, very quiet neighborhood, away from the avenue and car noise. Parks are only a block away, and the airport is about a 20-minute drive. Planes can be heard now and then.

We stayed with our family in early December 2020, and would definitely come back. The host was excellent and very kind. The room was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had everything well equipped.
