The owner and staff, who seemed to be family, were so friendly. They showed me how to get around Lima and even lent me their bus card. The room was really clean, and I was impressed with the hostel. It’s not in a very touristy area and feels far from most places, but there’s a bus nearby and some shops. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Breakfast was excellent, with an omelet, fresh bread, jam, coffee, and freshly squeezed juice. The owner was very friendly and spoke English. It was very affordable for Lima, and they helped us arrange a cab to and from the airport. There’s also a shopping mall nearby to look around.

A great place to stay near the airport. Movil Tours bus station is only two blocks from Tampu Machi.

The owner was friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were simple. Because of where it is, I’d only stay here briefly.
