Gamora Hotel Playa

We had a great time at Gamora Hotel. Our original room turned out to be too small, but the staff offered us a free upgrade to a mini apartment that suited us perfectly. They welcomed us warmly and offered shots of a drink of our choice. The atmosphere, facilities, games, and second-floor views over the ocean and nearby area were all lovely. My only gripe was the pool temperature. It was too cold for my toddler. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back without hesitation.

Amazing hotel, with super clean rooms and a good breakfast that was always on time. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful whenever we had a question or needed something. 100% recommend.

The hotel service was really accommodating, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the ocean. I’d suggest getting an ocean-facing room for the best experience. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and it was quiet after hours. They cleaned the rooms daily and provided fresh towels. They also communicate through WhatsApp.

I’ve stayed in other hotels and bungalows in this area twice before, and Gamora hotel playa was much better than I expected from past visits. Oregano's is very rural, and you don’t come here for a fancy hotel, but the rooms have comfortable beds, ceiling fans, high-speed Internet, big TVs, modern fittings, and hot showers in the morning. Even the toilets have soft-close seats. It feels fancy enough for the area. The rooms and apartments are arranged nicely for solo travelers or big families. You can spend time together and still get privacy when you need it. The prices for rooms, food, minibar, and airport shuttle are unbeatable. There are also games for kids, ping pong, foosball, and board games. The restaurant food is great, too. Best of all were the staff. Joselito and Esther are exceptional young people who take care of your needs. I’ve traveled all over the world and rarely met people as nice as them. Look no further, trust me.
