We had to leave early because of circumstances we couldn't predict: one of us became seriously ill with COVID, and there was major flooding nearby. The co-host was helpful at first, but communication got worse when we contacted them about what had happened. Even in that situation, the focus seemed to be on money instead of finding a good resolution or offering support. Sorting it out was stressful and difficult. The property itself may meet expectations, but I'd be cautious about booking because there wasn't much understanding or flexibility when things went wrong. I'd think twice before booking. We checked out on the second day and returned the keys, but they still marked us as checked in on Airbnb. That's unsafe and against Airbnb standards. It felt very sketchy for a hotel to keep showing guests as checked in after they'd returned the keys.

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Villamore Mancora. The staff were so kind, attentive, and helpful, and our room was clean, tidy, and just as described. Breakfast was included, simple but excellent. They also let us use the pool while we waited for our night bus. We especially loved the owners' two friendly dogs, who were happy to be fussed over. We'd stay again.

It's an excellent place to relax, close to the beach and shops, with professional, great customer service. The accommodations are excellent too, and they serve a delicious breakfast every day. Mr. Victor is a kind, great manager who can give you the information you need to get around town. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back soon.

The hotel feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, and the service is expensive for what you get. I gave it 2 stars for being close to the beach and having AC. The owner has a large dog wandering around that scares everyone and drinks from the pool. Breakfast is included; the fruit is okay, but the bread is really bad.
