Tierra del Sol

For 90 soles for one person, I had a modern, clean, very comfortable room with good WiFi, hot water, a good TV, and a basic breakfast included. The secure garage fits my bike and one more car, so there are only two spaces and you need to book ahead. The historic Plaza d'Armas and museum are within walking distance, as are the suspension bridge and Christ statue. There's no fan or AC, but I didn't need one on Sept 29.

The rooms are comfortable, and everything looks brand new and clean. It's a lovely hotel. The location isn't the best, though you can walk everywhere downtown.

The breakfast was excellent and the price was great. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the people working there were attentive and helpful.

I liked the clean rooms and the good general impression, plus the coffee maker was handy for making tea, especially in winter. But breakfast only runs until 8:30 am, which feels far too early when visiting. They should extend it to 9:30 or 10:00 like other hotels. An elevator would also help, since carrying luggage upstairs is quite uncomfortable.
