Casa Patacalle Bed & Breakfast Hotel

We really enjoyed the sound of water gurgling through the canal beside the window, and the hotel is tucked into a quiet spot just a few corners from the main plaza. The old textiles used as curtains and the wooden beams add a picturesque touch. The small bedrooms are cozy and charming. Breakfasts were simple but filling, and having laundry service on site was very practical. Shower water temperature was unsteady, though that seemed true of most hotels we visited.

The owners were really nice, and we had an awesome room. It’s a beautiful place to stay while exploring Ollaytambo.

We spent three days with Natalia and Edison, and they were wonderful hosts. There are only a couple of guest rooms, so it’s a good fit if you want somewhere quiet and homey. Our room had a cute balcony and an unbeatable view. The showers were a treat, with water pressure that’s rare in Peru. We also enjoyed relaxing in the small, pretty garden patio, where there are hens and a puppy named Toti. Edison suggested places to eat and arranged a car for us to Cusco. We had a wonderful stay.

We were really comfortable here, and the balcony had a beautiful view over the mountains. The location was great, and breakfast was nice each morning. We loved this place.
