We could see llama🦙 from our room, and they also kept our luggage for us, which helped a lot. They even gave us a luggage ticket. Carrying large suitcases on PeruRail costs extra, and the many slopes in Machu Picchu Village make them a hassle. The station was only a five-minute walk away, which worked well for us, though the village center is a bit farther and the slope is quite steep and long. The room was nice. Breakfast was super good, with local mango I'd never tried before. It wasn't too sweet, and we ate so much of it. I hadn't known Peru's mango was so famous. Perfect hotel for travellers to Machu Picchu.

There were four lamas and two very young calfs in the backyard garden. The room was spacious, service was very friendly, especially the young lady working in the afternoon. It's about 300 m to the station or 500m to the plaza de armas.

The kids had fun learning Sapo, just ask at the desk for the coins. We also found four alpaca hanging out around midday, and the included breakfast was wonderful. They kindly stored our luggage while we spent a night in Aguas Caliente. It's quiet and convenient for both downtown and the train station. We were glad to find a room that fit four people, and it was spacious and clean.

The staff were really friendly and shared several useful tips for the train journey. They also offered to store our luggage while we visited Macchu Picchu. The location is great, with the station and main plaza each about a five-minute walk in opposite directions. Breakfast was great, and our clean room had a mountain view. One thing we noticed: the floor was so smooth it felt slippery. My child and I each slipped once while hurrying to get something, and my wife noticed it too.

The room was cold, but staff brought us a heater and that helped a lot. It was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and both breakfast and the bath water were better than I expected. The third-floor view was nice, and the train station is only a three-minute walk away. The shower room leaked and had some odor.
