Atoq Paracas Reserva

The room’s view was fantastic, and the breakfast space and other common areas were lovely. The hotel sits right on the waterfront, in a great spot for trips to the Ballestas Islands or the Paracas Reserve. Staff were helpful and very friendly, and there’s parking on the property. The shower leaked a little, but everything else was excellent and we had a really enjoyable stay.

There were lots of thoughtful extras that made us feel welcome: beach bikes, surf skis and paddle boards to use, plus blankets on the pool patio and toys for the children’s pool. The breakfast had plenty to choose from, with delicious fruit and smoothies. Great location and fantastic customer service, which made the stay so enjoyable!!!!

We slept so well in the large, comfortable bed, and the food was really tasty. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful. Atoq Paracas Reserva has a lovely, calm setting with sea views. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it.

The views were a big part of why we were so happy with our six nights at the Atoq Paracas Reerva Hotel. It sits on a curve of shoreline about 1k south of the main town, with views over the inlet to the north and south and west across the Paracas Nature Reserve. The town’s tourist offices, restaurants, and bars are an easy stroll away, but the hotel still feels removed. Mornings were peaceful, and the sunsets were amazing. We spent time in the comfortable lobby for dining and relaxing, on the covered patio for fresh air, and on the lounge chairs in the sun. The restaurant’s free buffet breakfast was fantastic: fresh fruit and juices, yogurt, several kinds of eggs, quinua patties, potatoes, bread, butter, and jam. For the rest of the day, they made a nice variety of meals to order. Staff were extremely kind and service was great. There are FREE bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards, and it’s easy to get going since the shore is steps away and a bike and walking path runs behind the property. The water near the hotel was very clear and much warmer than elsewhere around the Reerva, perhaps because of the shallow water and lack of tidal movement. There’s also a small quick-dip pool for hot summer days. Our room had a king bed, a good walk-in shower, air conditioning, and plenty of closet space. Rooms vary a bit. My wife and I had already been traveling in Peru for 2 months when we reached Paracas, and we were extremely happy with our choice. If we come back, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Atoq!
