There are minimarkets nearby that are well stocked and take all kinds of payment, plus restaurants around the entrance with affordable prices. The beach itself is beautiful, with clean water and plenty of sand. Public access is fairly good at two small coves. There’s also a private parking lot, or you can park right by the entrance where there’s a security guard.

The waves come one after another, so it’s a good beach for surfers, and lifeguards are there. It’s clean, with security at the entrance. You can bring snacks as long as you’re mindful about putting rubbish in the right place. Balls aren’t allowed. Umbrellas, chairs, and small kids’ pools are available to rent, and vendors sell drinks and snacks.
It’s a broad beach, though getting there is difficult.
The sea is calm, but there’s a strong undertow and the water is cold. It’s easy to reach from Lima, just a few kilometers away. The house is beautiful and right on the beachfront in the first row. There’s an open beach and plenty of nearby options, including restaurants, minimarkets, bodegas, pharmacies, and other services.
