Breakfast was the best part, and it was quite acceptable. The room was moderately spacious, with a queen bed and a 45-inch TV, but also a small, ugly table and a cheap melamine wardrobe. I paid 145 soles, which is far too much for a place I consider a hostel, or at best a 1-star hotel. It advertises 3 stars, but in practice it's more like 1, and the rooms are only 2-star quality. The receptionist seemed completely clueless, and the parking was terrible. In my view, the room and hotel should cost no more than 90 soles. I wouldn't come back unless I couldn't find a better option.

The price was exorbitant for such a bad stay. We got locked out repeatedly, and the receptionist had disappeared. The building smelled bad, the bathroom water pressure was so low there wasn't enough for a proper shower, and the parking garage was at a different location from the hotel.

Discovering this beautiful hotel was one of our best experiences. The comfort was excellent and the service first class. We definitely recommend the Roussean Hotel. Our guests also leave happy after celebrating their vacations in Peru, Cusco, and Machu Picchu.

We traveled as a family, and I accidentally left some money in the room. When we went back, it was all still there, which made the place feel trustworthy. The staff were friendly, and the rooms and bedding were very clean. Highly recommended. If we return to Cañete, we'll stay there again. Thank you.
