Casa Mendoza

The facilities themselves are nice, but the staff didn't seem organized enough to make good use of them. My online booking caused problems that were sorted out once I arrived, though check-in took longer. Then the air conditioning in my room wouldn't cool at all. We couldn't reach the ceiling fan to switch it on, and reception couldn't turn it on for us either. A few light bulbs were missing too, so it was hard to see.

It feels more like somewhere to visit as a museum than a place to sleep. The mansion's age makes it hard to be comfortable, and the internet in the rooms is terrible, so mobile data is a better bet. They had wanted to build on top of the mansion, which would have been a different story if they'd made proper lodging with what travelers need. There are better places with amenities.

I went for work and had the worst stay I've ever had. There's no cleaning, the beds are ancient, many rooms have no electricity, and the doors don't have full panes. One star only because there's no zero. I wouldn't return, and I recommend staying away. I'll never go back.

Right in the middle of Sullana, it has the feel of a country house and is quiet. I had a pleasant stay. Best regards.
