Hotel Buongiorno

Be careful, this hotel didn’t deliver what it promised. We reserved two rooms ahead of time, but they weren’t available when we got there. The rooms are extremely small, and water leaked above the showerhead in the bathroom, which was in poor shape. Our payment was charged to the bank account three times for some reason. Even after we sent proof, they wouldn’t refund us and eventually stopped answering our calls. I’ve seen online reports that the hotel is known for scamming customers.

We were happy with our stay in room 301. The room and bathroom were clean and new, with a modern feel. We didn’t use the TV, but I assume it was all fine. Breakfast costs extra, though they give you water and hot drinks for free. They also kept our luggage at no charge.

Fue una experiencia pésima. Pagué la habitación por cinco días, pero al tercer día no pude entrar porque la chapa estaba malograda. El personal tuvo que forzar la puerta para abrirla, con la condición de que después ya no podrían asegurarla. Por eso me fui esa mañana, el tercer día. Pedí que me devolvieran el pago en efectivo, pero por orden del dueño, un tal Fabrizzio, se negaron. Incluso dijo que yo había malogrado la chapa. No tienen libro de reclamaciones físico, y cuando te mandan al virtual, la página no existe. Aunque los trabajadores mostraron voluntad, al dueño no le importa quedarse con dinero que no le corresponde. El hotel no tiene mantenimiento. Algunos aires acondicionados apenas enfrían y otros no funcionan. Hay fugas en los caños, y cuando los huéspedes conectan sus aparatos eléctricos, la luz se corta constantemente. Nos entregaron las facturas después de cuatro días de insistir mucho.

Some of the room fittings seem poorly planned, or squeezed into every bit of space without enough thought for guest comfort. The room and bathroom doors are misaligned and don’t shut properly. The bathrooms are also small, so using the sink is awkward because water splashes and runs everywhere. The hotel should also be more punctual with breakfast and do a better job of honoring reservations and agreements.
