I came to Tarapota on something of a spiritual journey and found much more than I expected. When I got sick during my stay, hotel manager Luz, the reception staff, and Vicente, the handyman, treated me like family. I love these people like family. And the Chocolate Cheesecake was SPECTACULAR!

It was a real deal booking this hotel. It's right in the city center near the market, with a restaurant on the top floor. Breakfast is buffet style, with hot drinks, fruit, natural juices, and delicious tamales. The rooms have air conditioning, which makes a very pleasant stay much easier here.

The motorbikes on the main road make this hotel extremely noisy. Still, it had the two things I needed in the Amazon, good Wi-Fi and air conditioning, so it did the job for my stay in Tarapoto.

The restaurant has a nice view, and the breakfast and bed were good for the price. Since the hotel is right by a market, it can be noisy, but it’s handy to have what you need close by.

The food was a highlight, especially the ceviche and arroz con marisco, which were really, really good. I liked the dieta sopa too. The hotel was very clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and there’s a small gym as well as air conditioning. Thank God for both of those. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Tarapoto. Thanks, guys! Best in Tarapoto.
