LP Express Hotel Tarma

It was easy to walk into town from here, and we found some very good restaurants there, including Coffee and Friends and Daylo. The hotel restaurant was good too. Our family room was a lovely setup: two adjoining bedrooms, one with the biggest king-sized bed I’ve ever seen and the other with two twin beds. Both had TVs and doors into the bathroom, which had two sinks. The room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped, and there was plenty of hot water, with soap and shampoo/conditioner provided. The staff were thorough and helpful, and were comfortable communicating with people whose Spanish is limited. This beautiful hotel exceeded my expectations. So glad we stayed here!

We could walk everywhere from this great location. The suite was clean, with a comfortable bed and a great jacuzzi, and the staff were pleasant. Breakfast was terrific too. It’s a relaxing historical hideaway from Tarma’s loud streets.

The place was clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was poor, including the coffee. That may not come as a surprise in Tarma, where the food is quite bad. As far as I can tell from my own taste, food outside Lima is generally pretty bad too.

It’s a nice hotel to stay at, but a little expensive. It’s the largest and best in Tarma, though they could keep improving if they want to be the best hotel. I guess you might find some local animals wandering around in the yard.
