The guides knew so much about local traditions and culture. Abel was great on our excursions, and Albert shared his story and experience. The restaurant team was excellent too. The price included the excursions, food, and drinks, and the whole team went above and beyond. This place was magical!

We went on sunrise boat rides and cultural excursions with local communities, with activities tailored to us. The all-inclusive food was excellent, showcasing Andean flavors and paired with fine wines. Service was warm, intuitive, and personal. Our spacious, elegant suites were thoughtfully equipped, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the lake’s shifting colors and locally crafted decor. Set on a private peninsula, Titilaka gives you 360-degree lake views and a quiet sense of connection with nature. It’s an exceptional retreat and an immersive, once-in-a-lifetime blend of luxury, nature, and cultural richness.

The hotel is remote, with little to do beyond its well-organized, scenic excursions. Alcohol and minibar items were included, but the options were basic, and premium choices cost extra. The Dawn Room was disappointing for two people: it was very small, had barely any luggage space, no bedside tables, and only a narrow shelf behind the bed where we kept knocking things off. The bathtub in the middle of the room felt impractical, especially without any bath amenities. The bathroom lighting and layout were good, but the room as a whole felt awkward and poorly planned. Staff were warm and helpful, and they quickly fixed a reservation issue, though service felt reactive rather than proactive. We missed the thoughtful, anticipatory touches we’ve come to expect from other Relais & Châteaux properties. The location on Lake Titicaca was stunning, and the food was truly excellent. The picnic lunches and boxed lunch on departure day were standouts. It was a beautiful setting, but the experience didn’t meet our expectations.

The daytime activities were great. We went birdwatching, learned about the Lake, boated across to Tequile island, and visited archeological sites, including the portal at Amaru Mara. From the beautiful lake and gorgeous room view to the hot tub, massage, and woodfire stove, we loved the amenities. The team was delightful, caring, kind, and thoughtful, and the meals were delicious. One of the best hotel and travel experiences we’ve had. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
