Hilton Port Moresby Hotel & Residences

At the heart of Port Moresby's Star Mountain Plaza, Hilton Port Moresby made getting around easy, and the complimentary airport shuttle was a big plus. The hotel has several dining options with excellent food and a great atmosphere, plus outdoor pools and fitness facilities that I loved. Staff were welcoming from arrival, warm and professional, and attentive throughout. My room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable for business or leisure. A wonderful stay, and I'd definitely return. Highly recommend!

During my 26 January to 5 February stay at Hilton Port Moresby, the room was kept to a high standard every day by Lina, the room attendant. Esther's thoughtful note left in the room was a lovely touch. Chef Lesley kindly accommodated my special request for Egg Benedict, and the Executive Lounge team, Anthony, Kupo, Casan, and Kessy, were professional, attentive, and warm, making the lounge a pleasure. The hotel provided reliable comfort and good service throughout. A bit more variety at breakfast and in the Executive Lounge would improve longer stays. It's a well-managed property with excellent staff, and I'd be happy to stay again.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the place felt secure and well maintained. My room at Hilton Port Moresby Hotel was spacious, spotless, and had modern facilities. I just wrapped up an awesome stay, easily 5/5. If you're in Port Moresby and want top-notch comfort, this is the place. Highly recommend! 💯

Security was the one good part of this stay. Everything else felt far below what I expect from the Hilton chain, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. We paid for two rooms, but one wasn’t on the reservation when we arrived. After several minutes of arguing, the issue was sorted out and we got the second room. Then we had to haul all our luggage ourselves while staff watched. There was no hot water in the room either, and it took a couple of hours to fix. The service was very poor. Staff treated us badly and didn’t respond to our needs. At check-in, they told us breakfast was included, but later tried to charge us for it again. We were also charged twice for rooms or meals: money was taken from the account and then charged again at reception. We’ve emailed several times to get the money back and haven’t received a reply or a refund. Be careful with the charges. This was such a bad experience that I won’t return to the Hilton chain. I can’t recommend this hotel.
