The room felt homely, with a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bench seat, and the renovations didn't make it too loud because the room was well insulated. I got a super cheap rate booking through agoda. Wish I'd booked a longer stay.
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, a Chinese woman came in to collect her bag before heading to Clark airport. The manager walked her to the front gate, where she said she just wanted to leave and would carry her two bags up the road herself. The manager asked whether she needed her P1000 security deposit back, but she didn't understand, and then the manager changed the subject. Guess who'll be keeping that deposit!
The area is a bit seedy, but the staff were great and the room felt safe, with a safe inside it. It was small, though the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were good. For the money, I'd recommend it.
Rooms are roomy for what you pay, so it's good value. The downside is how far it is from walking street.
The location is good and the place is somewhat okay, but the staff were rude and need training.
