We arrived with family for our first time and first day in the Philippines, only to be told our confirmed, fully paid reservation had been cancelled. We had no notice or explanation, even though the payment had already been charged. We were left without anywhere to stay that night and had to search at the last minute, when everything was fully booked. The communication was terrible, and the whole thing was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Avoid this place if you value reliability.

I had a confirmed three-day booking through Agoda and arrived at 5 PM today, but was told to wait because the hotel was full and they needed to see if they could fit me in. I waited until 8 PM, with no resolution, clear communication, or urgency. There was no manager there, so we felt helpless, and two other groups had been told the same thing. I ended up contacting Agoda myself to cancel. It was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Be Pods Lahug needs better booking management and customer service. Travelers shouldn't be left stranded with a confirmed reservation.

The rooms and service are great, and the location has plenty to do nearby. It's quite far from the city centre, though.

There's a range hood, fridge, and utensils in the room, so you can cook there. The property has a large pool and a kiddie pool that guests can use, with a night curfew for swimming. There's also a small fitness gym for workouts.

I reported the missing hairdryer on my first day, but by day three of my five-day stay, nothing had changed. There isn’t one in the room, so I had to borrow one from reception, and apparently the whole hotel has just a single hairdryer for guests to share. Housekeeping also knocked early in the morning and woke me up. It’s frustrating. Surely they could provide a few more hairdryers.
