Simon, the owner, was friendly and accommodating, and the staff were too. The cottages sit among trees and wildlife, so we could enjoy birdsong, rustling leaves, and the ocean breeze instead of city noise. It was a comforting, relaxing break. The restaurant has a lovely ocean view, and the food was freshly cooked to order and well seasoned. I especially liked the shrimp tempura and coffee shake, both a must try!! I'd only ask for stronger shower pressure. We'll definitely come back.

There was plenty to do around the grounds, from kayaking and wandering around to lounging in hammocks or on the jetty. We stayed two nights in the dorms, which were bright and very clean, as were the bathrooms. Each bed had its own window. The natural surroundings are beautiful, the food was extremely tasty, and the owners and staff made us feel welcome. It's backpacker-friendly and close to Moalboal, a nice mix of adventure and downtime. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to everyone :))

After traveling around the Philippines, this was a great spot to slow down. The property feels unique and eco centric, with breathtaking views, nature all around, and a quiet setting about 10 minutes from Moalboal. The restaurant was fabulous, and Fred in the kitchen made some of the tastiest food around. Simon and Allan were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome. We'll be back.

I planned on staying two nights, then extended it to four because I didn't want to leave this peaceful sanctuary. The natural setting and accommodation are lovely, and the staff and owners are warm and attentive. The food deserves its own mention. I honestly think Eskapo Verde is worth a visit just to eat, especially for vegetarians and vegans. Portions are generous, the selection is good, and the quality, nutrition, and taste are great for the price. I recommend the chicken adobo with coconut milk and Puso Eskapo-style (veg). It's a short ride to Panagsama for the sardines, and closer to waterfalls and peak lookouts. I'd choose to stay here over Panagsama beach or Moalboal any day. If you're into plants or birds like me, you'll enjoy it even more. It's magical, quiet, and surrounded by nature, away from crowded, polluted places.

The hosts were welcoming and easy to chat with, and the staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. A gentleman even came out to get our luggage. The food was excellent too, with authentic dishes and a Western breakfast that we enjoyed. Our room was very clean. There wasn't air conditioning, but I didn't really miss it at night. I'd recommend staying here and would return if I'm in the area.
