We booked unit 331, but the room wasn’t clean. There were roaches all over, especially on our first night, when the power also went out. We couldn’t sleep because of jet lag, and there was no hot water even though there was a water heater. We contacted the property, but they weren’t helpful. They just told us to cancel and ask booking.com for a refund. It was already late, so we couldn’t leave that night. We were exhausted, and moving around late at night was hard, so we waited until morning. Then we found a hotel for almost the same price that was much better. This place shouldn’t be on booking.com. Our phone batteries were low and we were trying to save power, so I didn’t even think to take photos.

The condo building is handy for quick food, grocery shopping, and visiting nearby spots like Ililikha Artists' Lodge and Burnham Park. The staff are nice, and check-in and checkout were seamless. The owner of unit 331 responded to our questions during the stay. The room was spacious and comfortable overall.

Session Road is an ideal base. Restaurants, cafés, the market, transport, and the Cathedral are all within walking distance. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean. But the room we stayed in had lots of small cockroaches and badly needs pest control. I can’t say whether the other rooms have the same issue.

It’s an easy walk to session road, just around the corner, and there’s a parking building next door, which is handy if you have a car. The place is spacious, with a separate air-conditioned room and a big Smart TV for Netflix and YouTube. We didn’t spend much time watching, though, because there was no internet. They gave us the Wi-Fi from the room beside us. There were a few cockroaches, but they didn’t put us off. The place was clean and neat, though not every nook and cranny.

A great place right in the middle of the city, but our unit had a lot of cockroaches. Don’t bring food leftovers back with you.
