We arrived late without a booking, so we ended up staying here for 2D1N. All the air-conditioned rooms were taken, and ours had no AC. It was a good thing we were traveling light, since there was no elevator between the 2nd and 3rd floors where our room was. The room had no window or dim lighting, and with wood walls and floors, voices and footsteps carried whenever people passed. Thankfully, it stayed quiet while we were there. The heavy fur and velvet blanket didn't suit my hypersensitive nose. I left the bathroom door open and the exhaust fan running all night for ventilation. I also kept the bathroom light on so I could check that my kids were sleeping well. We didn't encounter any creepy crawlies. The hotel is old, and breakfast was okay, though I wouldn't expect much. Its location is excellent, just a short stroll from the mall, cafes, fast-food chains, church, and park. That makes it my top choice next time, preferably in an air-conditioned room since that would be more kid-friendly.

The room's condition was bad enough that we left that same night to find somewhere else nearby. The bed made us itchy, the sheets had visible stains, and the pillows smelled unpleasant. I asked the receptionist whether we could get a partial refund, even just half, but was told refunds weren't allowed, so we had to let the money go. I paid ₱3,500 for one night for four people at Prime Hotel. While I was showering, the water suddenly stopped. There was no bucket, only a dipper, so I finished bathing with water from the sink. With Baguio around 10°C at the time, that was extremely uncomfortable. It was a very unpleasant stay, and I wouldn't recommend Prime Hotel on Session Road. Never again.

The location works well, with Burnham Park only a few minutes away on foot, and the staff were polite and helpful. I had a good stay, though the rooms felt worn and gloomy. Some outlets didn't work, and the WiFi wasn't stable enough. I hope they can improve things soon 👍

We booked through hotels.com and the pictures did NOT match reality. The building was dirty and hadn't been updated. At check-in, the staff kept asking for our Hotels.com email confirmation and saying it wasn't right, even though I kept showing it to them. They finally let us in after a few minutes. The room had no microwave or fridge. There was mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom, the ceiling was peeling, and the closets looked terrible. The mattress was about 4” thick, not hotel quality, and the sheets were stained and almost brown with age. For rooms with a view, there's no air conditioning or heat, just a fan. We were very cold, and the blanket we asked for had holes in it. Parking is free behind the property in an alley, but there are very few crowded spaces. The rate was cheap and the hotel is in the heart of town, close to both Burnham Park and SM Mall. We tried breakfast once. It was nothing special, but okay. After getting burned by Hotels.com twice, don't trust online pictures, they rarely match reality. I would have given one star, but thanks to hotels.com we wound up in an even worse hotel.

For travelers who just want a clean, affordable place to sleep while exploring the city, this is a solid choice and good value for a tight budget. The room is surprisingly spacious for the price. Just keep in mind it's not a luxury hotel, so it may not suit you if you're after high-end amenities or a fancy vibe.
