The rooftop is a nice spot to relax, and they also offer in-room massage. The room itself was noisy, with thin linen. It's a basic hotel, and there was no shampoo, just a tiny bar of soap, only a little bigger than a 20 peso coin.

The heater worked, at least. The old room was worn out and not worth 1,700Php, with a thin mattress and a tiny 15" TV that only had one channel. We were charged 40Php for the takeout box and utensils for our free breakfast to go, plus a 60Php service charge. A service charge for free breakfast? That was a first for me. Then we got the breakfast and later realized there were no utensils at all. Never coming back or recommending this place.

Rates are cheap, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Guests can park for free, just ask the guard for assistance. The rooftop bistro is pleasant, though the food is below average and too pricey. Since Tomas Morato is so close, I’d eat out instead. It's a good hotel for a couple of nights or if you're just passing through Manila.

The outdoor garden on the same floor as our room was lovely. We got a refreshing early morning breeze there, and it was very relaxing. That made our overnight stay worthwhile and compensated for the room. We’d booked the Executive Suite expecting it to live up to the name, but it hardly did. There was no hot shower.
