Hotel Cosmopolitan

This stay was a nightmare. We struggled with the uncomfortable bed until 5:00 AM, then at 7:00 AM staff kept knocking and calling despite our Do Not Disturb sign. They woke our baby. The reason was that they needed us to move the car because they had mismanaged their parking lot. We’d already been assured parking would be fine, but then had to circle for 30 minutes in heavy Baguio traffic. The way they handled it was unacceptable. They put their convenience ahead of a sleeping baby and their guests’ privacy. Avoid this place.

The plated breakfast was good, and you can get it all day, until 5 PM on the same day. The staff were polite and helpful too. The building looks old, though the inside is well kept. I’ll definitely come back.

The ground floor restaurant has good food bowls for 150 PHP, and it’s easy to hail a cab from the hotel. The staff are nice and helpful. The place looks a bit old, but it’s well kept, and the rooms and facilities were clean.

The location worked well for getting around, with jeepneys passing through the area and the city center, including the jeep terminals, within walking distance. Staff from the front desk to room service and the kitchen were professional, friendly, and quick to help. The room was clean and had a working heater and aircon, cable TV, and strong Wi-Fi. There was a screen on the window to keep insects out if you wanted to open it.
