Main Hotel and Suites Cebu

We've kept coming back since our first stay in 2018, drawn by the affordable rates and the service. Main Hotel and Suites feels like a home away from home. It's peaceful and feels very safe, close to the IT Business Park, with easy access to shopping and entertainment. The staff are professional, polite, and hospitable. Rooms are clean and spacious, with good air conditioning. The bathroom has hot and cold shower, toiletries, and fresh towels. The food is amazingly delicious too. For a fee, the hotel can provide a driver and vehicle for city tours or trips out of town. Kudos to mAin Hotel and Suites. Mabuhay, and thank you 😊

The bed was comfortable and the room clean, though both the room and hotel feel old. The air conditioning is very noisy, so light sleepers may have a hard time. Rooms on the second floor sit right above a tin roof, which gets incredibly loud when it rains. The worst part was the reception calling my room at 11 while I was resting to ask about checkout. I woke up and rushed to pack, then later realized checkout was at 12am. They said they make those calls at 11 to ask when guests will leave. That cost me an hour of rest and sleep. They need to learn better service and not interrupt guests during their stay.

The rooms are quite large for the price, and I booked through agoda. It's very close to country mall and IT Park, yet the place feels private, peaceful, and quiet. There was a small mix-up when room service thought no one was inside and tried to open our door. The staff member had a master key and seemed surprised when I opened it.

As a tourist, safety was my main concern, and I felt safe the whole time with guards on duty 24 hours. The showers were really hot and long, a nice bonus. Everyone treated me like family, and the friendly workers went out of their way to answer questions and help. Rooms were cleaned every day, and the chef made amazing food. It's very affordable. I'll always book here and highly recommend it.
