The port is close by, which was the only plus for us. The place felt so dirty that we didn't want to touch anything: there were flies all over, toenail clippings beside my bed, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. We wound up leaving and staying somewhere else. Sorry.

No internet, towels, soap, or toilet paper, and there was no hot water. The first-floor sinks had no water either. We also had mosquitoes and rats around the showers. Over two days I killed seven big, fat cockroaches, including some right by the bed. FILTHY.

The room had a broken window, so traffic from the main street came straight in. The shower was filthy, and they hadn't replaced the three sheets after the person before me used my bunk. The staff weren't friendly either. Still, it costs next to nothing, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I mainly needed a bed and a shower, and that's what I got. Then I found out the WiFi was better than what I usually use, which made the stay much nicer since I could stay connected. Thanks! I'm here because ferry cancellations are expected with the pending tyhpoon. If you're after hotel-style accommodation, a hostel probably isn't for you.

The staff were very accommodating, and I found the bed comfortable. You can walk to a church, a convenience store, fast food, and the market.
