The location and breakfast were the only parts I liked. We paid cash for four nights, January 27, 28, 29, and 30, after walking in on the 26th to book. We made the dates clear, but staff handed us a room card anyway and insisted we keep it when we tried to return it. When we came back to check in on the 27th, they said we were already checked in. It turned out they had checked us in on the 26th. After a big argument at the main desk, they admitted the mistake and let us stay on the 30th. They also said the error would cost that staff member over 3,000 from their salary. That’s terrible. The first night, people in the next room had a party. The walls are paper thin, and we could hear every word. We complained twice before it finally got quiet at 11:45 pm. They seriously need to soundproof the rooms. The toilet overflowed, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the bathroom wasn’t good, with poor water pressure. The TV wasn’t a smart TV. We had to pay a 1,000 deposit to borrow a dongle from staff so we could watch YouTube. I don’t recommend this place and won’t return.

The location is brilliant, but the hotel itself was terrible, and I can’t recommend it. It cost the same as the hotel I’m staying at now in Vigan, which is a 10 out of 10. Maya from housekeeping was the one bright spot and went above and beyond. I don’t blame the staff, I blame management. The breakfast was really bad, and the hotel’s procedures were ridiculous. A second room key required a 500 peso deposit, an extra flat sheet cost 70 pesos, and to have our room made up we had to fill in a request form. We also filled out a maintenance form on the first day because the fridge door was stuck, but nobody came to fix it during our three days there. The bathroom notice said to put out a “makeup your room” card, but there wasn’t one in the room. They ran out of towels one day and gave us one cut in half, as shown in the photo.

We were there for Christmas vacation on December 26, 2025. The location is lovely, across from burnham park and with easy access to the city center. The staff were great, and they gave me everything I requested, like extra pillows and fresh towels, without charging extra. Breakfast was simple but good, with bread, cereal, rice, noodles, eggs, and different main dishes each day, such as corned beef, burger with gravy, or longganisa. A few things could be better. There’s only one elevator, which gets inconvenient in peak season. We tried two rooms and found the shower water only slightly warm, not hot enough for Baguio’s cold weather. The TV only had local channels, so I hope they upgrade it to a smart TV for Netflix or casting videos. The internet could improve too. It was terrible in the first room and a little better in the second, but the signal didn’t reach the bathroom, even though the speed in the room was good.

The location is a big reason to stay at VENICE HOTEL BURNHAM. It’s right across from Burnham park, beside the overpass to the park, and close to plenty of restaurants and fast food places. Mcdonalds is next door, with a grocery store nearby. The BAGUIO CATHEDRAL and SM BAGUIO are just a short walk away. We stayed two nights and three days and had the free breakfast buffet. The hotel also has its own restaurant serving buffet lunch and supper. The hotel, its services, and the nearby conveniences made for a good stay. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying visit to BAGUIO.

It was an easy stay at Hotel Veniz, with a straightforward transaction and a friendly concierge. My room had a queen-size bed, plenty of space, a bidet and shower head, plus a terrace looking out over the park and nearby city roads. Burnham Park and Baguio Market were easy to reach. They have rooms for families as well as solo travelers like me. They also have their own cafe with a free breakfast buffet, and there’s a fast-food chain next door.
