203 Anabelle Residence

The host was warm and quick to respond, and even let us extend our stay at short notice. The place was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, with a convenient location. I’d recommend it for a cozy, easy stay.

They kindly fit us in on short notice and let us stay longer when our flight was delayed. Lovely place, would recommend :)

We left after one night, though we had booked two. The photos made the place look better than the section we stayed in, and it promised amenities that weren’t available. The compound is shared with long-term renters, and the area around it felt rough. Our passenger van struggled with the roads, and parking inside was hard to maneuver. There was no breakfast, despite it being offered when we booked. We rented a whole section for our extended family: four separate bedrooms, two kitchen areas, two bathrooms, full-size beds and two bunk beds in each room, plus two outlets and an AC unit per room. There was a table for 10, a couch for three, and a small 20in TV. Each kitchen had a mini fridge, one gas burner, a ketle, one pan, and one rice pot. There were two outdoor areas to wash clothes. On arrival, no one greeted us for 20 mins. The wifi didn’t work until evening, and then it was awful. The TV was listed as having full cable, but only two channels worked; the rest were locked because there was no valid subscription. Most beds had a layer of sand and were very dirty. The AC units worked sporadically and mostly just moved air.

The pool was great, and the rental was a better deal than a hotel, but the hot water only worked for one shower after I asked for a repair. Some electrical sockets were damaged too. There was plenty of off-street parking, but none was assigned to the apartment, so I had to park on the street. Entering Anabelle residence into Google nav takes you to an apartment building in a residential area about 2km from where you want to be. Maybe using the property's proper name would fix that.
