The price and location would bring me back, but the linen, pillows, and towels need an upgrade. The hotel could be a smart, comfortable modern place otherwise. I'd also like to see the manager get the cleaners' eyesight checked professionally, given how often they seem to miss the bathrooms.

Chexkin is a budget friendly option with a decent room for the price. The room lighting is pretty dim, though, and both the furnishings and general setup feel outdated. It works if you need a simple place to stay on a budget.

Check Inn has some really good people working there, and the location and rooms are decent. But we found a lot of creepy crawly things in our room. They need pest control. Without the pests, I would have given it another star.

I keep choosing this hotel when I need an overnight stay in the city. It's affordable, and the beds are comfortable. They give you a full blanket instead of just a sheet, which keeps you warm when the aircon gets too cold. The front desk is very accommodating, and you can leave your bags there while you explore or run errands.

I've stayed here twice with my dad, for two nights each time while he had a Doc appointment in Siliman university Medical Center. The rooms are lovely, and there's an elevator and a restaurant. It's affordable and worth the price. The staff are friendly and approachable too. Highly recommended.
