The staff are very nice and do their jobs efficiently, even though they are deaf. Everything around the place is kept very clean. There are kitchen facilities for cooking or heating food and water, drinking water is available, and you can use the ref to store your pasalubongs. A modest place to stay in Dumaguete City.

The bag drop was fast and hassle-free, and the rates are very affordable. If you've just arrived from Siquijor and want to explore Dumaguete hands-free before your next flight or ferry, I highly recommend leaving your luggage here. It was a lifesaver for making the most of my time in the city.

We left our luggage here while exploring Dumaguete. The staff were helpful, we didn't need to book ahead, and the price was very reasonable: 300 pesos for two large bags for up to 24 hours.

The dorms are in a quieter part of Dumaguete, away from the centre, which is about 20 minutes away on foot. Tricycles run along Hibbard Avenue, so it's easy to get into the city and back. Dumaguete Port is around 10-15 minutes away on foot, with shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Nights are quieter, though traffic is audible in the morning. I stayed 2 nights in the male dorm. It has 4 steel-frame bunkbeds that feel sturdy, though you can feel a bunkmate moving around heavily. There was AC and a fan in the room. The bunks were against the walls, leaving a 1.5 metre gap in the middle, and each person had a locker large enough for a large backpack. My bed had a firm mattress, a sheet for a blanket, a private light, an electrical socket and a small shelf. The shared bathroom/toilets, lounge and kitchenette aren't air conditioned. I came out of every shower sweating again :-) I was surprised that the hotel employed deaf staff. They're really nice and do their best to communicate, though it can take time, so patience and kindness help. They work hard to keep the common areas clean and tidy, cleaning several times a day. For the comfort and cleanliness, the price p/n is very good value. I had an awesome stay and would love to stay again on my next visit to Dumaguete.

The dorm rooms are pretty good, the staff are kind, and you can use the kitchen for free. Wifi works well too. The gate is locked at 9:00 pm, but you can borrow keys from the front desk with a key deposit, so you can still come and go freely at night or early in the morning.
