The reception area was inviting and kept in good shape, but the rest of our experience was poor. The hotel was overpriced, and breakfast wasn’t even good enough for the dog. The shower and toilet urgently need repairs, and there was stagnant water on the floor. The bedroom smelled moldy and needed a thorough clean and redecorating. The carpet was badly stained and damaged.

A budget-friendly place that’s clean and nice, and I’d recommend it to first-time visitors. The restaurant staff were kind. I gave it four stars because the front desk staff weren’t accommodating.

We paid for two nights, went upstairs, and came straight back down to ask for our money back. We decided not to let this place ruin our vacation, and after about an hour of pleading they refunded us. We hadn’t really used anything, thankfully. The room was dirty, with bugs in the carpet and a smell like ancient history. Everything looked very old, including the TV, and the linens felt like they’d been on the same bed for ages, as if they’d never been changed. There was no air conditioning, and the view was bad, right in the middle of the city. It didn’t feel like somewhere we’d want to return to after going out. I swear I’ll never stay there again.

Our family enjoyed the overnight stay in the larger room with three big beds and a bath tub, and they want to come back. The location is close to the Baguio City Public Market, Session Road, and Burnham Park. They accommodate 24-hour check-in, which matters when it’s difficult to find a room on the spot. The building is one of the oldest in the city and has a classic feel. The lighting in the lobby and inside makes it feel a bit like an adventure, or a little scary. There’s no AC, but Baguio is cold, so why would you need it? If you expect too much from a hotel or are picky about where you stay, this may not be for you.

The carpet was filthy, like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the food was disgusting too. My coffee cup had lipstick on it even though I wasn’t wearing any, so it clearly hadn’t been washed. The place is cockroach-infested, and the staff just don’t care. I didn’t sleep at all during our two-day stay. Don’t stay at this disgusting hotel, even if the guys at the terminal recommend it.
