The room itself was the hardest part of the stay. It was stuffy and smelled of mold, with sealed windows and no ventilation. It even stayed warm into Baguio City's chilly night, so we left the door open for air. Luckily, we were at the end of the hall and had some privacy. The lock was finicky and hard to open. The room also looked nothing like the Agoda pictures. We got towels, soap, one roll of tissue, and a working water heater. Still, I felt so uncomfortable that I spent most of the time in the lobby. We were only there overnight and spent much of the visit outside. There were water marks on the walls and ceilings, and the building needs work. No elevator, poor signal, and Wi-Fi only in the lobby. I also saw cockroaches crawling around the lobby. The reminders in our room about locking the doors and windows to prevent theft, and the hotel's disclaimer that it wouldn't be responsible, made me uneasy about leaving my belongings there. The area is quiet and away from the city center, with some pretty nice restaurants nearby. But getting a cab was difficult, and walking anywhere in town took at least 15 minutes. The road wasn't well lit, which could feel unsafe. The staff were friendly, but passive, so I had to ask each time I needed something. This was by far the worst place I've stayed. I wouldn't recommend it, even just as a cheap place to sleep.

The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and the staff were really nice and helpful. The room was clean, though it felt old and the interior could use a revamp. You have to go to the lobby for Wi-Fi. I'd come back.

We left at 11 PM on our second night, even though our booking ran through the next day. The second room still smelled moldy, had poor ventilation, no phone signal or Wi-Fi, and the thin blankets were damaged with visible holes. We had paid an extra 400 pesos for another guest, but didn't get an extra mattress until I went back to ask. The shower did work, but the sink drain was clogged and smelled so bad it made us nauseated. We skipped breakfast. Our first room on the second floor was in terrible shape: mold on the ceiling, filthy windows that wouldn't open, dusty bedside tables, old curtains, and a door that made creepy noises. The shower area was so dirty we wouldn't use it, and the showerhead was broken and couldn't be mounted on the wall. The hotel was dirty and unexpectedly moldy throughout. I asked reception to move us. At first, the receptionist said there were no rooms, but after checking the system she had a security guard take us to the basement to see another room. It was a little better than the first. Neither of them helped carry our luggage upstairs. The guard only brought the bags to the lobby, and with no elevator, we had to haul everything up the stairs ourselves. The rooms were small, smelly, dirty, and moldy. It was a horrible experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, but the room was such a letdown. It smelled like a long-abandoned place, with lots of mold. The bedsheets looked unwashed, the window was filthy and couldn't be opened, and the bathroom was dirty with a clogged drain. There was no signal or Wi-Fi either. Before booking, I'd already made a request, but it wasn't followed. When we checked in, the staff didn't help carry our things. I called to ask for another room, and they said they were fully booked. I asked for a refund so we could find somewhere else, but they said they wouldn't return our money if we left. We stayed for 2n3d, though when we were out, we didn't want to come back because of the smell and room condition. I'm glad we didn't bring a child, since I worry the room might have made our baby sick. The Municipality of baguio should check whether this hotel meets the requirements to operate. The owner should fix it and renovate. It was a disastrous stay, and I won't book here again. I feel like I wasted my money.

On arrival, I was told the room I'd booked wasn't available. The receptionist was no help, and I got no refund, replacement room, or assistance rebooking somewhere else.
