Regs Bristle Ridge Residences

Apartment number 209 was clean and well maintained, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I had a very good stay at Bristle Ridge, with an excellent location. The bed, though, wasn't comfortable at all. Still, it was a pleasant experience overall.

From the roof deck, you can see the nearby church and SM Baguio in the distance during a morning walk. The church's Angelus prayer can be heard at 12pm and 6pm. I think this is a place worth returning to. There are three buildings: Bluebird, Southbell, and Oakhill, which is the main building. Guests get an assigned numbered parking space and have to use that same spot for their whole stay. Only Oakhill has three basement levels. On the third basement level you'll find the admin's office, gym, water refilling station, laundry room, and AVR (Audio Visual Room). It's a great place to stay when visiting Baguio city. The rooms have what you need, like being at home or in a dormitory.

The host responded promptly and seemed concerned when we raised the problems, but none of the broken items were replaced while we were there. The location and atmosphere at Bristle Ridge Residences had promise, yet the furnishings made our stay disappointing. One of the dining chairs was worn out and structurally unsound. It collapsed when my wife sat on it, which could have caused a serious accident. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt. The electric kettle and stove also didn't work, so we couldn't make a hot drink or a simple meal. The maintenance issues affected our comfort and safety, despite the host's responsiveness. The unit needs more thorough inspections and timely repairs so other guests don't run into the same problems.
