Vista de Pino

The foggy morning view was my favorite part. It has that peaceful Baguio feel, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Our room was clean, spacious enough, well-kept, and had the basic things we needed. The staff were easy to talk to, and check-in went smoothly. It's handy for getting to tourist spots, while still quiet enough to rest at night. A cozy, affordable place for a quick trip with friends or family, and I'd recommend Vista de Pino Transient House.

Getting a taxi or Grab here was extremely difficult. We're from Palawan and had no car in Baguio, so we waited almost four hours for a ride, missed our reserved bus, and got no help from the staff. If you're without your own vehicle, I wouldn't choose this place; it's far from the city and transport is a real problem. The rooms themselves were clean, comfortable, quiet, and reasonably priced. The area was cool, there's a small shop out front selling coffee and alcohol, and the staff moved our whole family into one room with four beds, which we appreciated.

It's a short walk to Camp John Hay, the weather's lovely, and the price is good. The room was a little small, but fair for what we paid. The street noise at night was the one drawback.

I really liked the room and the place, especially the view of the mountains and pine trees. There's no aircon or fan, but that was fine for sleeping with the windows open since it gets cold.
